The cuisine of Procida
The principal element of Procida cuisine is naturally fish and shell fish which are caught daily by the local fishermen and sold fresh at Marina Grande.
But the Island cuisine offers much more with insalata ai limoni, lemon salad with oil, garlic, chilli and mint or coniglio alla Procidana, rabbit Procida style with garlic, white wine and tomatoes. It is possible to discover hundreds of delicious recipes. The famous lemons of Procida are also used to prepare limoncello which is drunk icy cold.
